Thank you. The insurance investigator didn't give me any reason to hold out any hope as the theft had the signs of a pro. Sunday night, trailer ready, etc.

Asking everyone's help in keeping an eye out for my Moto Guzzi Griso.
Someone stole it from our driveway last night/this morning, Omaha NE.
I have both keys and since they are chipped it probably can't be started.
It has some very unique and distinguishing marks/features...
and MUCH brighter. Honestly easy to justify for that alone.
Got the fronts installed this w/end and again didn't need to use any of the resistors.
Just as easy but took much more time simply because I had to figure out a way to install them in the stock location.
I almost drilled out the...
I quickly tired of the false "bulb out" on my rear, left indicator so I ordered a set of Rizoma Action signals from PJ's Parts.
Best price I could find and stupid-fast shipping.
Installation was very, very easy but the previous owner had installed the tail-tidy; that helped.
Total install time...
If you are at or near 6k on the original rocker cover gaskets do your pants a favor and change them out now; the gaskets that is. It seems they have an almost atomic-clock-accurate habit of blowing at 6k.
Mine let go at 6005 miles with not so much as a drop of weep the day prior. The khakis I...
Thanks for the reply Pete.
I found the 85w 140 spec on page 85 of the Griso use and maintenance guide #06.90.00.00
I think I may have even downloaded that from Guzzitech.
I recently stopped by Breeze Cycle in Omaha. Talking to the owner I found out they are now a Guzzi dealer and will be getting ~6 bikes in a few weeks.
I'm pretty excited about that.
I searched so I apologize if this has already been addressed.
I am seeing two different specs for gearbox lube for the Griso 1100
one is for
Rotra MP/S 85W 140
and the other is for
Rotra MP/S 85W 90
can someone point me towards the more current spec?
Thanks
The Griso's is pretty good for being seen during the day since it throws light everywhere. I also put in an Hella Yellowstar bulb which is very eye-catching. But night time is like driving with a glowstick.
File under "learn something new every day". I have not seen any photos before of the lettered Griso VC. I have an '07 1100 so it has the plug wire running right down the middle.
Thanks for the info!
Could I talk you into posting or emailing me a pic or two?
I've had good luck with rattle can wrinkle too, I still have a can of red and one of black.
Thanks
