Hello, I am in the process of refurbishing a 1975 850t. The bike seems to idle fine; however, when I Rev the engine and the bike begins to settle back to idle it slows past idle cuts out and dies. Any ideas? I have cleaned the carbs to the best of my ability.

Hi - I usually do O.K. tuning carbs, but this one has me frustrated so need help.
Bike: '79 SP 1000
Problem: When I let off the throttle, it wants to keep running at the same RPM and then eventually and slowly drops in revs.

Timing is O.K.
