Thanks Gerry, will be working on it today and try to get good newsAlso, check the 12V battery, associated connections, and all ground connections. A weak battery or loose connection might have caused excessive voltage drop when the engine was turned off (voltage OK as long as alternator/regulator system was maintaining adequate voltage while the engine was running).
Thanks, battery will be checkedLoad test the battery (or at least monitor its voltage). I've had a cell fail whilst riding, bike ran perfectly but wouldn't restart when I got home, checking battery showed 12.5V when sitting but dropped to about 7V when ignition turned on, high resistance cell.
Also search and read about the ground behind the starter, in addition to the battery and clean and tight connections. 99% of the time it’s nothing to do with the ECU, in fact that would be last outside of the ground connection there. Thanks, battery will be checked
I have been working on the Stelvio this afternoon and finally getting some results, ECU reconnected, motor starts and stops instantly but SERVICE showing, getting confusing,Also search and read about the ground behind the starter, in addition to the battery and clean and tight connections. 99% of the time it’s nothing to do with the ECU, in fact that would be last outside of the ground connection there.
