GTM E4 V85TT Exhaust NOW WITH DYNO RUN

Has anyone here installed the V85TT E4 Y-pipe? The stock clamps from header-to-cat are too big for the header-to-Y-pipe connection. Before I go grab some different clamps... am I missing something? There is also no hanger on the y-pipe... I assume that was removed in design at some point after the first version? Thanks all!

Direct email is best for product questions you've purchased. Our Y-pipe is slip fit, no clamps needed. The mid-pipe hanger is only needed on the boat anchor stock colostomy bag, so not needed (and in fact problematic) on standard tubing. Yes, removed from v1.0.

2 questions please, maybe I’m doing this wrong?
Anyone have a proven slip-on that you’d recommend for performance midrange gains?
Can ride height be adjusted? 2022 V85TT Guardia

Thank you all

Start from the beginning of this thread on your exhaust questions, then click on the STORE tab above.
There is a dedicated suspension thread linked below. No Ride height adjustment on the stock shock.

Thought I'd share a video of my bike with this setup.

Hi mate, did you experience any check lights after the Evo install? Have only heard of a very very small few that did but was never a issue, or more so never heard anything about it again from them so assuming just a once off??

One time. Went away and no problems since over a few thousand miles.

Todd, I have looked at this GTM exhaust data a number of times but all of these posts are about four years old now. Some current commentary might be valuable. Just returned from a 5000 miles spin through New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Labrador and Quebec. Can’t recommend it to highly. My regular crew rode two 790s and two ‘21 V85TTs. The MGs were great in all respects. Left home not sure if I would regret leaving my 790. Not at all. Just finished discovering that to replace my rear brake switch required removal of the center stand, exhaust system and bash plates. While it’s apart I find myself again considering your system. What is the status of this system today? While more horsepower is always welcome, I really don’t want it badly enough to degrade ridability and dependability. I see your system touted at 80 (or 85?) rwhp. What is stock rwhp? From the data available your system upgrade looks like pretty cheap additional hp if there is no impact on usability. Is it possible to replace the factory one piece headers and cat with your headers and Y pipe and use the stock pipe/muffler? Does this require a remap and or power commander? Seems if so (remap and Power Commander required) that that using your tail pipe and silencer would be an obvious next step. Your diy airbox cut looks like it will remove my earlier concerns about the marginal quality of the factory airbox sealing system. What’s the weight loss associated with your full system? Do you have complete package available? Price and time to deliver? Looking forward to hearing from you. Mike Curtis

Your questions about products should be asked using the contact tab in the Store. Todd doesn't necessarily see all posts to the forum.

Thanks John. Can you forward it along or advise me how?
Mike, my email is the same since we first met back in 2001. ;)
