For your reasons you are perfectly correct in want you say. For their own reasons, others are also perfectly correct even though opinions differ and may infact be opposing.
In the long run run, one of those opinions will prove correct (re Guzzi), and then we can all converse as to who was right and why.
Really, it's great to see other points of view. I'm not ashamed to say, I have changed my opinion on things because of the points of view put forward by others.
