How new is the bike, from all reports, the factory settings on the Norge aren't all the flash. Valves, timing etc. Have you had it tuned by someone who know's what they are doing? Sorry if it sounds like I'm telling you to suck eggs.
Ye ha, it arrived today, :D
Got the Mrs dirty and we removed the old pipe, and installed the new. Hardest bit was that bloody spring, grrrr, but in the end too easy.
Started the old girl up with the DB killer in and honestly I thought it was quieter than the stock pipe  soooo, I...
Thanks Pete,
my partner goes home for four weeks in December, next time I get some days off, I'll come up stay the night and ride home. If nothing else, we can have a beer or six.
cheers
I fly up that way on a regular basis. Its bloody lovely country green and hilly, I'd love to take the Norge up there one day for a holiday.
Most importantly here is DID YOU SNAP A PHOTO OF THAT GIRL????? Surely your phone was handy
The two issues I had with the Norge 2011 have both been sorted I believe.
The "Cold Start" issue, was simply a tuning issue sorted by the Wizard of Bungendore and the non starting issue as suspected was a problem with the starting switch. A new assembly has been ordered just in case
Thanks...
ride it like you stole it, I personally don't like frame and sliders, they detract from a beautiful bike, but then, I guess that's an individual choice. Its a motorbike, sometimes they fall over, touch wood I haven't dropped one for years
Well, I bit the bullet and took a ride down to see Roper at Bungendore today, and I swear I rode a different bike down than I rode home, what a difference. Lets see tomorrow when I start her cold how it goes, but I'm absolutely sure it will be sorted.
Thanks a heap Pete
cheers
Thanks Guys,
yes I'll speak to Roper, see what he thinks, if I need to change the forks I will, I don't want it for track days or to be a super hero but I'd love to get it right so I don't freak out when I hit bumps in the road when hard over in a corner, sheesh, its a frightening thing. I'll...
Hi all,
I've clocked up 5000k's on the old girl now and loving it. I have chewed out a good tyre with only 5000ks and replaced the Angels with PP3's front and rear.
I think I've got the rear sorted out but I have no idea what settings or even where to start with the front forks. Its...
The stepper motor on my 2011 Norge is being or actually was replaced under warranty today, I'm hoping that it has fixed my cold start issue. When the bike is cold, it won't start with out me pumping the throttle, once it has started and idling for about 15 seconds of throttle control, it idles...
