My 2003 Aluminum won't' start again. I haven't been riding for about six months (had a baby and was just too busy). When I tried to start it a couple weeks ago, it wouldn't start, although the light came on. I figured it was most likely the batter, so I removed it and charged it up and put it...
Jeez Todd, I disappear from the forums for a while and THIS is what I see when I come back??? It sucks, but I'm glad you seem to be getting better. PT sucks but it really works if you stick to it. Good luck with your recovery and hopefully you'll be back riding soon!

Not sure if you all saw this (http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-ocotillo-motorcycle-accident,0,3049653.story) but some idiot in a gold Honda Civic down near San Diego (about 80 miles east) tried to pass a pack of about a dozen motorcyclists out on their club's 10-year anniversary ride...
Thanks all, I need to go back to my old place (have some stuff in storage there) and dig out the battery charger. The solenoid sound was what threw me off.
Jon, I don't even know where the "charcoal canister" is or what it does or how to remove it, and I lost my toolkit a couple years ago...
Hi all, I last rode my bike about two weeks ago, with no problems, but when I went to start it yesterday morning, it wouldn't start. The lights came on and it tried to turn over, but it made a clacking or ratcheting sound and wouldn't start. The battery is only about a year old and like I said...
I'll add one note about MGTO though - if you order parts, be sure to follow up. I ordered a side panel for my Aluminum about a year ago and gave them a credit card number to charge the $60 or $70 or whatever it was up front. The part arrived but was the wrong one (unpainted) so they were going...
Mike, sorry to hear the father and daughter were friends of yours. I read the story yesterday and was sadden that innocent bystanders got hurt. It brings it home on a more personal level when you know them or know someone who knows them.

Todd, did you get a tkt or just a warning? A ticket for that would suck, since you can almost always see the other end of those one-lane sections and at night, you can see the headlights of anyone on-coming as well.
Pointless tickets are just revenue-raising, not for real safety. Abuse of...
Re:Outlaw Ride '09 at Big Nose Kate's Saloon
When is this going to be? From last year's descriptions and the talk here, it sounds like it would be fun, if I can get away.

Just for kicks, I followed that link of yours and it doesn't seem to work in Firefox. So I opened Safari which I rarely use, and at least then the fancy little scrolling job on the right worked, but when you click on the link to look at jobs, nothing happened. I don't have IE (I mean seriously...
Somehow, my original tool pouch that came with my bike got lost and I need to put together a new one. The requirements are:
1. It must fit in the compartment under the seat
2. It should contain everything vital for most minor roadside fixes
So to all you experts out there: what would you...
Cool pics and it looks like you guys had a really nice day of riding. How did you take the pictures while riding? Do you have a handlebar mount or did you do it freehand?
