Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. Well, the left mid-fairing finally gave way and i'm going to have to replace it.
Have the dash, wind shield, and inner fairing off. The bike was converted to the Sport 1200 chin fairing earlier, so those lowers are not an issue.
Do I need to pull the head light fairing to get to that front...
Well, I guess I waited too long to rebuild the rear shock as the top mounting bolt has again broken. This time I have 36.4,mm of the 80mm bolt in my hand. This means the bolt broke about dead center of the shock.
I suspect I will have to cut the space out a slice at a time until I can wiggle...
So apparently I have a pretty unusual situation for which neither my local dealer, nor Moto International has a reasonable solution.
One of the plastic sockets on the throttle body synchronization linkage that snaps onto the throttle body butterflies (?) has gotten loose or has cracked...
If you have Contis on your bike, you might want to check this recall notice...

OK, the date for the ride to Ojai to visit the Guy Webster museum in its new and improved location is Sunday, the 17th of February.
So far, I know of two group meet-ups. The first is at Pro Italia. 9:00 for coffee and donuts with a 10am departure. The second (SoCal Norton Club) is departing...
I spent part of Tuesday evening with Miguel Galluzzi at Cal State Long Beach where he gave a presentation on his life as a designer. Quite an interesting individual and a great presentation.
A couple of the projects he has been involved with include the Ducatti Monster, Aprilia RSV 4, and the...
I stopped by Pro Italia this afternoon to take a look at their new Guzzi/Triumph showroom - nice place. A couple of interesting things came out of the visit.
First and most interesting to me, is they have sold out of Grisos and don't know when they will be able to get any more. They are also...
I think I've gotten all the bolts out (at least according to the exploded parts diagram) but the rear mud guard/inner fender will not come out of the frame. I'm sure there is some trick I haven't discovered yet and I'd sure like to know what it is.
Anybody got a suggestion or know the magic...
Bill Kerlow, known locally as GuzziBill has passed away. I don't know the details, but it was not a riding accident. He was way too young for this to happen - only 54.
Services will be May 27, 2011 - 9:00 a.m. - San Fernando Mission Rey -- 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd., Mission Hills, CA...
Anyone locally have a plastic welder? I want to reinforce some of the plastic on the Norge and hopefully stop one crack. I'd rather not purchase one myself, but will if that is the only reasonable solution.

I have the service manual (pdf) for the Norge downloaded and am looking for information about the TomTom GPS wiring. I cannot follow the wiring diagram as many of the labels are too small to read and the scan is not sufficiently detailed to allow enlarging to the point of reading the diagram...
It's now been a couple of weeks since I finished my prostate cancer treatment and am able to get back to riding. Now I get to see if the suspension mods I had done a couple of months ago are worth it. So far, oh hell yes.
Monday I took a ride up Angeles Crest and today put over 200 miles of...
I just had the 6250 mile (10,000km) service done on my Norge by the local dealer. The work accomplished was changing the engine, transmission and final drive fluids, and change the filter (for $375). Looking at my service manual, it looks like he should have also changed the outer spark plug...
OK, I have the new Norge (LOVE IT!!!) and the TomTom Rider 2 to go with it sitting on the floor of my home office. Moto Intl. had the mounting plate on order (hopefully it will show up soon) so it looks like I will be installing this gadget myself. So the question is - where exactly is the...
