    Speed wobble 1400 touring

Hi, I have recently bought a California 1400 touring with full luggage including top box, I am still getting to know the bike, has anybody else suffered a wobble at high speeds, I am talking in excess of 80mph? I have heard of bikes with panniers and top box can sometimes be affected, great...

    First Impressions 1400 Touring

I look forward to trying my new Touring on our British roads, where I live in the English Midlands there is little opportunity for adventurous riding because of the traffic jams and poor condition of many road surfaces, not to mention speed enforcement cameras, when you can ride without these...

    New purchase 1400 Touring advice

Hi guys, I have returned to Moto Guzzi after selling my Breva V1100 five years ago, I have bought a 2014 California touring with 10K miles on the clock, is there anything I should look out for as my knowledge of these bikes is zero? I must say it appears very well built and rides really good...

    Breva 1100 Suspension

Thanks for that John, Indian curry is my down fall altough at 6feet 4inches I don't look too bad I hope  . I will consider uprating the suspension as you suggest, it does seem a bit on the soggy side. I might just wait to see what 2012 brings from Guzzi though and do a trade in.

    Breva 1100 Suspension

I find my Breva 1100 weaves quite a bit more than my old Triumph Trident did, I also am running with the Metzeler Z6 roadtecs, the rear is a little squared off now and it does not like irregualr surfaces, I weigh 120Kg so I have evertything set to max. I notice that the footpegs ground early...

    Breva 1200 - Valve clearances.

You have my sympathy. I did the same to my Breva 1100, the tappet noise was too clattery so I checked them, to my surprise they were too tight, I adjusted them to the factory specs and now I am slightly embarrassed by the REALLY loud clatter, I'm not sure if I won't tighten them a bit again...

Breva 1100 Gearbox Main Shaft Failure

I expect the dog teeth had broken off due to the carburising / tempering process not being carried out correctly, as these parts are heat treated in batches there must be some more examples out there if this is the reason. I am quite new to Guzzi having defected from Triumph, I must say...

    Siezed valve cover screws

I got a shock today when I decided to adjust the valve clearances on my '08 B1100. One of the button head screws on the RH side that hold the valve cover (rocker cover to us Brits) on had siezed solid in the cylinder head, no amount of tapping, teasing, soaking with penetrant etc would shift it...

    Final drive breather

Thanks for the advice, I had a closer look around and the oil drip is actually coming from what appears to be a breather hose, it looks like there are two tied together near the front of the swingarm, one appears to be for the fuel tank, the other is I think from the airbox, should this have a...

    Final drive breather

Guys, I am quite new to the world of MG and recently purchased a Breva 1100 '08 plate with 9000 miles on the clock. I have noticed that the final drive breather shows some oil on top of the CARC housing after a ride, it is enough to leave a small spot on the floor, is this normal? I have...
