Hi Andrew I have been riding a norge for about 5 years now and and only use it for touring 2 up with luggage. The standard suspension is way too soft under these conditions and found it wollowing in corners and bottoming out on big bumps etc. But the fix was easy I ordered a new Penski rear...

    Matris Kit produces harsh ride

Hi all I fitted the matris drop in kit to my Norge plus the Penski rears that Todd recommended, and followed the instructions to the letter, which clearly stated 10wrt oil in the instructions included not 20wrt. I also filled to the measurement stated not volume. I used a 1 lite bottle to do...

    Breva door stop

Sorry to hear that Gheezi sounds like you were very tolerant. I have only been to Springwood Suzuki once and that was on a recent trip north . I was in a rental car and luckily no one knocked it over in the car park. I am from Newcastle and we have no Guzzi dealer here, which I cannot...

    Centerstand shook loose. Now what?

Yep happened to mine as well. However I was lucky I only checked it after reading about it on this forum and couldn't believe it when I found the bolt had completely un threaded but was still there jammed on an angle as the bike was resting on the centre stand in the garage. I check both bolts...

    Norge inner bags

A much cheaper alternative to genuine inners is a set that is made for the Yamaha FJR1300 that's what I use in my Norge and they fit straight in with room at the top of the pannier for a jogger, one each side of course. Got a set on the net, go looking.

    Get a grip

Has anyone replaced the hand grips on a norge? Can you just replace the rubber grips only or has the entire heated grip need to be replaced? Also can anyone recommend a throttle lock (cruise control) that works on a norge? Recommended suppliers for both? I have seen the 'o' ring type and the...

Gidday everyone I have a 12/2006 Norge GTL that my wife and I use for touring around our great country so we generally have all 3 boxes full of luggage and wine and a little beer. As fellow Auzzies, you know the roads down under aren't always great on the back roads, so the bike is often...

    Cracked Box

This is round 2 for the repair to my top box, Norge. The first time I took it to a plastic repairer and it was welded and was fine, for a while. Now here we go again round 2, same cracks have opened up. When I looked a bit closer I found that one of the rubber mounts that the box sits on at the...

    Breva/Norge Helibars

I read a posting re Helibars and thought I need them on my Norge being vertically challenged (5' 6"). Even though they are a little expensive I attempted to order a set on line, but they don't mail to Oz. I contacted Helibars and they advised there is an agent in Oz that you must buy through...

    Norge vs RST Futura

Hi Bising I am a bit further south down in Oz but have recently bought a 2006 norge with low Km's for my wife and I to go touring. When we go riding it is usually fully loaded with panniers and top box full. We get a pannier each for cloths and use a set of Yamaha FJR inner bag liners to pack...

    Tank Bag

I bought an Oxford 1st PT Strapon tankbag for my norge and it fits perfect. The end closest the rider is tapered so tends to follow the line of the tank. I don't use the Velcro base attachment provided but rather a cut piece of woven rubber place mat to sit it on the tank which stops it sliding...

    Norge broken Top Box mounts

Has anyone had success in repairing the locating tabs on a Norge top box. These 2 tabs locate into the top box support bracket at the front of the bracket. I tried superglue but this didn't work and we nearly lost the box for a second time.
