Since cheating is (mostly) accepted, I'll say eastern Nevada...

Here's a recent one I took (just a couple of weeks ago) that is certainly distinctive. Which road?

:?: :?: Me thinks maybe Scotland (sort of a country) going by the heavily wooled sheep and the left hand drive vehicle heading up hill. If not some where in the british isles considering the shrouding summer fog!!

Your reasoning is sound (though I don't know how you can tell that's a left-hand drive vehicle), so we'll call it close enough. It's Wales (also sort of a country).

This one is distinctive enough (if you've been there). Yes; it's a pass and it's a pass that divides two countries.

It's the Colle del Gran San Bernardo (Great St Bernard Pass), which is not to be confused with "Little St Bernard Pass" and "San Bernardino Pass" (what's the deal? were they running out of names to use?)

Looks familiar but I can't peg it, kinda looks like Hwy 50 South of Scipio UT, but the scale of the cliffs looks wrong.
The plain looks like most of NV. Where is it?

Here's one, where is it?

Hi all, first post as I love games :D

Found your blog from July 1996 (haven't read it yet) and the Road is, I'm guessing, Spiral Highway - Idaho. AKA: The Old Lewiston Grade or Old Highway off 95...

Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be a full Guzzi owner but may never trip down that road :(

Anyways - thanks for the site - it's very helpful :D

looks like we were standing pretty much in the same spot (mine was a terribly hot and hazy day).
Yeah, I'd say I was standing about 10 feet west of you. :)

I have to go back, maybe next year!

Has any one been on highway 3 road south of Lewiston? The section from OR into Washington was pretty nice.

With the above subtle hint, let's see if anybody can guess this one...

Thanks for the welcome Rafael and as soon as I get my Guzzi, I'll let the world know, with Pics and all :D

Thanks for the Youtube correction too :)

As for the new road pic - I'll need more clues   :D

It's been on here for over a week and no one has had a stab at it yet, surely someone must recognise where I was in early October. If I'd put some of the mountain roads up you'd never guess them.
