North Georgia TAG ride

Hey!! I think things are back to normal w/ my computer!!
Thank you Mr. Wayne for posting in my stead!
Mr.Bill, You have GOT to have COMSAT in your back pocket!!! ha,ha

The picture above is just a gratuitous "test image" of my bike.

One more clue as it relates to Mr.Wayne's last Tags location
was a quote by American author Horace Greeley...
"Go West, young man"

Good tag. A little difficult to find, but I have driven by this barn many, many times on my way to "somewhere". It's a pretty day today, maybe I will get out and stretch my Guzzi legs this afternoon.

Picked up the TAG today. Beautiful weather if a bit cool at the start - 48 degrees. Barn is one of 70 or so "Rock City" barns still standing. Located on 411 just north of the intersection of Hwy 140. I have been by this barn many times over the past 40 years between Atlanta and Knoxville. Don't particularly like traveling I-75 no matter what my mode of transport. Working on new TAG - patience grasshopper.

Dang. 70 or so Rock City barns still standing and I got to pick the one you have been traveling past for the last 40 years!!
Good job Mr. Gary!
Gimme a tag! Gimme a tag! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Rains stopped and the sun is out. Time for a NEW TAG. So here goes:

A lovely place to pig out if you have been running the “ridge”. “Reverend Holmes” said the one handed chef is such a “pea” brain. I suppose they use a “hickory log” to smoke the BBQ. Stop by for a bite and pick up the TAG.

Fun Tag gt928 !
Just up the road from where the Cherokee Remote control flying club was/is.
The place was dark and as soon as I stepped onto the porch, some guy sticks his head out the door, apologized for not being open when they normally would be, and says they have a "bit of a situation going on" and to come back tomorrow.????!!
Poop, I wanted BBQ...
Well, from there I rode to the Tag location that you see below.

Here's a wee bit of a clue and I don't mean to string you along on this one,
but if enough Guinness passes the gullet the location becomes clear...

Great looking Ambo, makes me want one.

Can't identify TAG at first glance. Guess I will have to do some puzzling over that one.

Mr.Wayne,
Grab ya a bottle of stout, and between sups, stare at it longingly.
Keep repeating the 1st line in the posted clue...

You can't lose if you follow these clues...

~not the place for babies crying, but you may find their breath worth buying.
~"A History with a Future"

p.s. Mr.Bill, you got this yet?

Working the clues.

Leave me alone. :p

Bill

Now I don't feel so bad about being stumped on this one.

String Guinness stout babies? And a picture of a faux lighthouse!
Is it even in Georgia?

GOT IT! Great set of clues, a real puzzler. I probably won't get to it for a couple of weeks as I am either working everyday or out of town.

And no Bill, the Pope has nothing to do with it.

Well done, Gary!

I am still lost.

One of those clues took me way south, but I hope to break the code soon.

Bill

P.S. As there is no Pope just now, I wasn't taking any clue or "unclue" for granted. ;)

Wayne, see the above. Keep drinking and keep looking. Actually my wife looked at it for a couple of minutes and provided the missing clue and she doesn't even drink Guinness. Come to think of it neither do I.
