V85TT Registry and pic thread

Well congrats and welcome to the GT Forum & Guzzi Famiglia! I always admire those who ride around debilitating injuries... kudos to you. I would do the same. I'm sure you'll love it even more once you pile some miles on. They don't settle in until ~10k miles. My good friend Robert lives up in Georgetown and has the "McDonald's" colored version. You should get to know him... interesting guy deep in the moto industry. Ping me direct email and I'll connect you if interested; Info @GuzziTech.com
Otherwise, enjoy and hope to see you posting often! Curious if your bike had the recalls done on the final drive, rear brake master and foot-peg pin clips?
I haven't been active on the site but I've ridden almost 22k on my V85. TX, NM, CO, WY, MT, ID, UT, LA, MS and AL. I'm not aware that any of the recalls were done or necessary on my bike. I definitely got a good one. No mechanical issues whatsoever except it over heated in Arches National Park as I had to sit in line forever idling and creeping toward the entrance. Never again. I thought I'd ruined my engine.

What indications of overheating did you experience?

Congrats Dave, thanks for posting the info and pic! Always better with you in it though. ;)
Safe to assume you got it today?
What in the world is that contraption behind your new ride?

The moment I saw it in the Guardia d'Onore livery I knew I had to have her...

2022 V85TT Guardia d'Onore #402 of 1946, VIN ZGUKYUE05NM000087
Purchased at Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati, OH. June 30th, traded / sold my 2016 V7II with nearly 20,000 miles to make it happen. This has been by leaps and bounds the most fantastic motorcycle I have ever had the pleasure of owning, only 650 miles in and I love her more with every trip.

Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum Jan! Love having global folks here. Are the 85 tank pads from Guzzi? Hope to see you here often!

Hello, thank you! Tank pads were bought at ebay from some Polish guy who makes it by himself. I don't know if it is permitted to put links here, but if you search for "V85 TT tank pads" you will find it immediately. The seller is mgpoland ;-)

Welcome! Yes, I do not allow hyperlinks here, so thanks for not linking them... and for the info to search. Hope to see you here often. ;)
