Could be, and also could be suspension damping/set-up. Pre-production models often are hand-built and refined to build production specs from.I'm wondering if "less rigid" is due to the rubber mounted foot peg assemblies?

LOL - Obviously the angleMy my bum look big in this?
Whoa, you have 7 Ducati V4 adventures in your shed?!I rather like the look of the new Stelvio, when it's ridden.
But it struck home with me yesterday when I had to move 7 new Ducati V4 adventure bikes out of our shed....
Took a shot of 2 of them above.Whoa, you have 7 Ducati V4 adventures in your shed?!
Speaking with my local Moto Guzzi dealer (imagine. The only one in the Chicago area, and just 4 miles away!) They are expecting one, maybe two Stelvio by the end on the year. About $16k. More sport touring than the Mandelo. Same engine but more features. we'll see.A new Stelvio? Is there such a thing? Me no think so!
So about 22K for us Canadians. No thank you. For that much I can have an older Stelvio and a Norge and money left over.Speaking with my local Moto Guzzi dealer (imagine. Have you ridden a V100 Mandello? Time has a habit of finding better ways to do things. Let alone dealing with hardening rubber, wear, etc.So about 22K for us Canadians. No thank you. For that much I can have an older Stelvio and a Norge and money left over.
The Mandelo is what Guzzi made to replace the California due to the new European emissions regulations. Not bad at all. Just the seal is a little too high for meHave you ridden a V100 Mandello? Time has a habit of finding better ways to do things. Let alone dealing with hardening rubber, wear, etc.
I would much rather have one of the new bike(s) a lot more than the 15-16 year old designs you mention. The only reason I haven't plunked down cash on a new Stelvio is that the seats don't look comfy so I want to sit on one first.
Perhaps the motor, but not the bike. I very briefly saw a tease about 2 months ago hinting that a new California is in the works.
