V100 H20 Stelvio Chat

Probably about now. My dealer notified me over a week ago that he was invoiced for mine saying he generally receives the bikes 10 days or so after the invoice.
After putting in some miles on the V100…….I’m a 100000% Moto Guzzi Fan Boy! :giggle: My buddy rode the V and he’s all about checking out the Stelli when it gets here. I’m really blow away with the Mondello engine and I could see how this Stelvo will really surprise people looking for a mild ADV bike

Thanks Guzzifly and good to hear you like your Mondello so much! I *hope* I like it. To be honest I'm a little apprehensive about buying a motorcycle that I've not even sat on or even seen, much less ridden. I do like my V85 though and most everyone that has a Mandello, like you, seems to like them so 🤞

Thanks Scott, I feel I should because I like Moto Guzzi's and I prefer the ergonomics and suspension on dual sport and adventure motorcycles for the kind of riding I do most often.

The transmission on has bee balky on mine but is getting better with some mileage. Pretty typical of Guzzis. My biggest gripe is the high beam gets flicked on accidently with heavy gloves. Not a big deal.

I think it *usually* works out when buying a bike that you've not actually ridden, and V7's have a lot to like and very little not to.
But, I bought a 2020 Africa Twin 1100 that I ended up not liking, hating really . And this was after having a 2016 AT 1000 that I loved. It was all due to the electronics and throttling.

I just saw the first listing for the Stelvio in Canada. International Motorsports in BC has them listed for $18,990 plus... $1,695 freight and setup and $395 documentation fee. $21,080 plus 12% tax = $23,609.60 CAD all in. Very close to the same price they list for the V100 S.

P.S. In Quebec for $20,190 plus 15% tax = $23,218 CAD all in

WOW, that is almost double what I paid for my V7 III Anniversario in 2017. No thank you.
